GASC went WILD!!! I just returned from 4 days of bliss …. at the Great American Scrapbook Convention in Arlington TX. It's New Year's Eve afternoon & kinda nippy outside - like 45 degrees! And that means it's time to bake some baklava! Yummy (I hope!) First sugar, water, lemon, whole cinnamon and cloves boil and make the kitchen smell like elysium (that's Greek for "heaven on earth")! In August I saw a Mickey Mouse shadowbox in a Disney World gift shop.Ooh! Had to have it! I have pins from taking tours at Disneyland andDisney World. Our precious Honey Frances ventured outside through the garden during the rain(I found out later!) then back inside to her daytime slumber spot (our bed AKA the elevated dog pillow.) Yesterday was National Scrapbooking Day! 11 of us hunkered down at Kim’s Scrap & Crop in beautiful Denton, Texas from 10a-12 midnight. Years ago, while at Disney World, I noticed that one of the Deluxe Resortshas lobby’s restrooms with potties that do NOT automatically flush. I rode the shuttle bus from the Grand Californian Hotel to the Anahein Convention Center later than the other gals one day.
